Nine tracks and a cat’s nine lives just like the common myth states…

Born in a digital age, Mad-Hop began as a Last.FM group. Quickly it found its place in underground music with regular digital compilations. Those early releases already had an international tracklist, made from the finest producers of a global beat scene.

In 2012 Map-Hop decided to reject the norms of the music industry and become an independent label with its own physical releases. Thus Mad-Hop Records appeared.

On the Friday 13th, 2013, the Mad Black Cat is gonna bring you this label’s first physical release, involving multiple artists: „Mad13.” A release party is planned for the same day in Amsterdam at Warmoesstraat 129.

Grounded in a party sound, the album offers many different styles: there’s a solid dose of bass music, together with post-trap , post-juke, moombah, and so on. „Mad 13” gathers artists from around the globe: USA, Australia, Holland, Ukraine, Canada, Russia, and Poland. On aboard are Daeadelus, Ta-ku, Pixelord, 813, Koloah, Minoo, Thomas White, H-sik, and J(ay).A.D.
